The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians® has invited Dr. Adelman to assist in their upcoming Lumbar Endoscopic Spinal Decompression Course and Workshop in Memphis in March 2017.

Dr. Adelman will be presenting on:

  • Indications & Efficacy Transforaminal Endoscopic Surgery
  • Technical Considerations: Disc Decompression L5/S1

Dr. Adelman will assist as an instructor at their cadaver workshop March 4 & 5 at the Medical Education & Research Institute as well. He is honored to continue his support of institutions that promote the improvement of minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Adelman will also be attending the 13th Annual Evidence & Technology Spine Summit in Park City, UT, which will take place in February of 2017. The summit will cover critical spinal practice issues and scientific controversies. A surgical session will include minimally invasive surgery. Thankfully, the MISS conversation is now recognized by the course directors as an important topic in spine care.

The demand for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery is rapidly growing, and this is evidenced by the increased attention MISS receives in professional associations. Dr. Adelman is excited to be part of the important progression of spine surgery into the modern age.
