Angela Krull, M.D.
Dr. Krull was raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998 with an honors degree in microbiology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2002, completed a General Surgery internship at the University of Hawaii in 2003, and finished her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at the University of Virginia in 2006. Dr. Krull completed an Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine Fellowship at The SMART Clinic in 2007 and subsequently joined the facility.
Dr. Krull has worked extensively with college and recreational athletes during her training, including an honorary position as resident team physician for the University of Virginia Athletic Department from 2004-06. She has also been a Wilderness Medicine of Utah course instructor since 2001, a program devoted to training physicians and allied health professionals in backcountry medicine. She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Krull is appreciated for her gentle procedural skills as well as for her efforts to educate patients and provide comprehensive individualized management plans. She balances advanced diagnostics and interventional strategies with weight management, exercise, appropriate medication management, nutrition, and wellness maintenance.
